The cultivation of vines in the Litoměřice region dates back to approximately 1057. Already in the Middle Ages, Litoměřice was the second largest wine-growing town in Bohemia. At that time, you would find 400 ha of vineyards in the cadastre, which were everywhere in their vicinity, including the Liběšice slopes. Our tradition, which lies at the foot of Mount Sedlo in the beautiful landscape of the Bohemian Central Mountains, continues this tradition.
After the acquisition of the original small vineyards, which were already located in Horní Chobolice, we set out on the path of their radical restoration and reclamation. We expanded the entire area of vineyards by 10 hectares and planted new varieties. Our priority is clearly the highest quality, and therefore we plan to offer our own wines again in a few years.
In the meantime, you can taste or buy archival wines from us, directly on the spot or add them to your reservation.
In September 2022, we plan to begin the last stage of reconstruction of the former farm from the XVIII. century. There will be a wine bar and you can look forward to unforgettable experiences in the form of custom tastings.
The large barn next to the wine bar will be an ideal place to sit with friends, family or for a corporate event, where you can taste our wines and strengthen yourself with local delicatesse.
